Effects of Artificial Sweeteners Aspartame and Sucralose on the Size of Hepatocytes in Rat Liver

Background: The excessive use of artificial sweeteners now a days just to lose weight and remain fit due other reasons without knowing its effects on liver gave me thought conduct this study see whether they are safe or not for health. Aim: To the Aspartame Sucralose size rat hepatocytes compare their choose relatively sweetener routine use. Methods: Fifty adult Wistar albino rats used in were randomly divided into five groups. Group I (control group) animals given drinking water by oral gavage. group II III low (40mg/kg body weight) high doses (1000mg/kg respectively. Similarly, IV V (5mg/kg Doses gavage once daily, six week total duration eight weeks. At end experiment histological observation all animal groups was made. Results: Microscopic examination revealed that (high dose Aspartame) had largest with mean value 20.86±2.00µm as compared control having 16.46±1.74µm.
